What to do when someone dies at home October 5, 2018

When someone passes away at home there are a few different steps you will be required to do.

1. Call an Ambulance or Dr – The ambulance may come and request you call your local GP to issue a medical certificate
2. If you had already made arrangements with a funeral doctor, you would call your funeral director so transportation arrangements can be made to move the deceased into their facilities.
3. Call a family member or friend. It is at this time where the reality sets in and you may need a family friend to assist you with all that needs to be organized.
